Flo Fertility App Class Action

Flo Fertility App Class Action

Collette Parsons Corrin LLP has commenced a proposed class action against the operators of the Flo Fertility App on behalf of Canadian users of the App. We are advancing this case in concert with Ontario co-counsel, Charney Lawyers.

In early 2021 Flo was fined by the United States Federal Trade Commission because it failed to protect the private health information of millions of women.  The FTC’s investigation found that the Flo App was sharing data with third parties, including Google and Facebook, in direct contravention of its privacy policy and its promise to users to not disclose their information.

Flo is one of the leading ovulation tracking apps in the world with over 100 million users.  Flo users record extremely personal information on the App, including information about their menstrual cycles and sexual activity.

If you are a Canadian resident and would like more information about being included as a member of the proposed class action please email us at [email protected].
